Executive Medical Director - Neuroscience Clinical Development - Toxins

AbbVie seeks an Executive Medical Director to lead clinical development programs in neuroscience toxins. The role involves directing complex clinical trials, overseeing study teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as an in-house clinical expert to support product development strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and oversight of multiple clinical development programs
• Monitor study integrity and review accumulating safety and efficacy data
• Design, analyze, interpret, and report scientific content of protocols and regulatory submissions
• Oversee investigator and study site personnel education and compliance activities
• Serve as clinical expert and opinion leader for assigned molecules and disease areas

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or non-US equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty
• Residency completion strongly preferred; subspecialty fellowship desirable
• At least 5 years clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent
• Proven leadership and cross-functional team management skills
• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements
• Excellent oral and written English communication abilities
• Ability to independently run complex clinical research programs
