Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU / Rapid Response (Night Shift)

Location

Denver, Colorado

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 6-Week Assignment | 48 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative assessments and care for surgical patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit
• Deliver specialized post-operative care including post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy patients
• Manage continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and Foley catheter maintenance
• Administer and monitor pain management therapies including PCAs and epidurals
• Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a charge nurse, staff nurses, and patient care technicians
• Document and manage patient care using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
• Current ACLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be included in submission packet)
• Med/Surg and/or post-operative nursing experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in GYN/Oncology nursing
• Urology nursing experience
• Team-oriented, compassionate, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
