Key Personnel is seeking a Patient Registration Clerk in the Tulsa, OK area.

Job Title: Patient Registration Clerk
Location: Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday – Friday7am - 4pm
Pay Range : $17/hr

Patient Registration Clerk Job Summary

Responsible for providing front desk support in a medical office setting by assisting patients with registration, scheduling, and administrative needs. The Patient Registration Clerk will serve as the first point of contact for patients while ensuring accurate documentation, excellent customer service, and efficient office operations.

Patient Registration Clerk Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Complete patient registration and verify demographic, insurance, and personal information.
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with patient questions or direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collect and enter patient information into medical office systems.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance when handling patient information.
• Provide administrative support to physicians, clinical staff, and office personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Multitask effectively while managing a fast-paced patient flow.

Patient Registration Clerk Customer Service Responsibilities

• Provide a positive and professional experience for all patients and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Address patient concerns while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate compassion and patience when assisting individuals in a healthcare setting.

Patient Registration Clerk Technical & Software Skills

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Comfortable entering and maintaining accurate patient information.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to quickly learn new healthcare systems and software.

Patient Registration Clerk Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of proven medical office experience required.
• Previous experience with patient registration, scheduling, or front desk healthcare duties preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
