As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to residents and visitors. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule Sat - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol observations, and security related activities. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security related experience. A Guard Card or license is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
