Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor access points and support a welcoming, secure residential community environment. You will conduct routine patrols, manage visitor and vehicle access, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, entrances, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, property concerns, and policy violations. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
