What You'll Do As a CNC Operator/Advanced Manufacturing Technician, you'll play a key role in both production and R&D projects by: Programming and operating CNC equipment using CAD/CAM software Supporting additive manufacturing and fabrication processes within our lab environment Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Performing inspections using CMMs and other quality equipment Troubleshooting machining and equipment issues Assisting with routine machine maintenance and upkeep Ensuring projects are completed on time and meet customer requirements Maintaining accurate project documentation, reports, and quality records Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and customers on innovative manufacturing solutions Following all safety, quality, and ISO 9001 standards What Makes This Role Unique Work with advanced manufacturing technologies, including ultrasonic additive manufacturing Participate in both production and research & development projects Gain exposure to engineering, machining, quality, and fabrication functions Contribute to innovative customer solutions rather than repetitive, high-volume production work Join a growing team focused on continuous learning and technical development What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including conventional machining Experience with CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Working knowledge of GD&T Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to pass a drug screening Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machining Experience with CMM programming and inspection equipment Exposure to additive manufacturing technologies Experience working in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments Work Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week Primarily assigned to either 1st or 2nd shift Occasional schedule adjustments may be required based on production needs Overtime opportunities may be available with management approval Benefits Health & Wellness Competitive medical and dental insurance premiums Vision insurance at no cost to employees Boot allowance Prescription safety glasses allowance Time Off 2+ weeks of PTO after 30 days Paid holidays Financial Benefits 401(k) with company match Quarterly bonus program based on company performance Skills-based pay increases Professional Development Tuition reimbursement Career growth opportunities Hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies Additional Perks Scholarships for family members of full-time employees Company-provided and laundered uniforms after 90 days Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
