Overview Hearst Newspapers seeks a dynamic Strategic Account Executive to maximize digital and print sales revenue. You will sell strategic advertising solutions to current and new advertisers, helping their businesses grow by leveraging our media product suite, traffic, and digital data to reach their target audience. The role involves managing a full sales cycle: prospecting, leading presentations, creating proposals, closing business opportunities, and managing post‑sales campaign results. Responsibilities Drive Success with Innovative Tools: Utilize AI‑powered software throughout the sales cycle. Sales Goals: Exceed sales activity, pipeline, and revenue goals monthly. Lead Generation: Acquire new medium‑to‑large business leads via cold calling, email marketing, networking, and business openings. Pipeline Management: Continuously build new business and upsell opportunities. Product Expertise: Master digital and print products/services. Client Interaction: Conduct discovery calls and presentations. Client Solutions: Recommend new products and promotional opportunities and handle objections efficiently. Forecasting: Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce.com. Advertising Solutions: Create engaging advertising solutions that solve client business needs. Qualifications Education: BA/BS in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience. Experience: 2+ years of B2B outside sales in advertising or media with proven success in new business acquisition and revenue goal attainment. Skills: Superior presentation, interpersonal, and communication abilities. Technically savvy with Salesforce, Excel, and PowerPoint.
