ICU Registered Nurse - Columbus, OH

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Contract

Licensure/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric ICU patients
• Administer medications, including complex IV and ventilator management
• Utilize advanced treatments such as pulmonary artery monitoring, CRRT, and chest tubes
• Perform invasive procedures like intubation and central line placement
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Ohio RN license or compact state license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• At least 2 years of ICU experience, including vents and IV starts
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health records

Preferred:

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma or large academic medical center
• Ability to adapt to rotating or flexible schedules
