Staff Accountant

HUSK is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Staff Accountant to join our team. This role reports directly to our Financial Controller, offering hands-on mentorship and a path to grow your accounting career. The ideal candidate is expected to work two days in our Wayne, PA office and three days remote. Responsibilities Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Maintain organized financial and administrative records Enter data into accounting systems and spreadsheets Reconcile payment information and resolve discrepancies Support month-end and year-end closing processes Process, scan, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence Prepare and post checks accurately Provide additional administrative support and assist with special projects as needed Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred Minimum of 1 year of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience Basic understanding of IFRS or GAAP accounting principles Curiosity about AI tools and how they can streamline accounting workflows Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Proficiency with Excel/Google sheets and the use of formulas Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and time management skills Why HUSK Salary: $50K–$55K, based on experience Hybrid flexibility — 2 days in office, 3 remote Employee access to HUSK's own wellness programs Ability to learn and grow by working on various accounting functions #J-18808-Ljbffr
