CORPORATE PREOWNED DIRECTOR

Mills Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Preowned Director to lead and enhance our preowned vehicle operations. Located in Pineville, NC, this role requires a strategic leader who can drive sales growth, optimize inventory management, and build strong customer relationships while upholding our company’s commitment to excellence and integrity. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to increase preowned vehicle sales and profitability across all locations. Manage inventory levels to meet market demand and ensure a competitive and diverse vehicle selection. Lead, mentor, and motivate the preowned sales team to achieve individual and team goals. Collaborate with other departments to align marketing, finance, and service efforts with preowned operations. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies proactively. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all preowned transactions. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, wholesale partners, and customers to enhance business opportunities. Oversee acquisition and wholesale processes, including managing a team of buyers to optimize vehicle sourcing and profitability. Requirements Proven experience in automotive preowned sales leadership or a related managerial role. Strong understanding of vehicle remarketing, inventory management, and pricing strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with automotive industry software and sales platforms is preferred.
