This leadership role reports to the Production Manager and is critical in ensuring smooth, high-volume production in a clean, fast-paced environment. Crown Linen operates 365 days a year, so a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily operations of receiving, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linensEnsure adherence to production schedules and quality control standardsCommunicate performance expectations and operational goals clearly to team membersMonitor individual and team performance, provide coaching and feedbackMonitor key metrics such as PPOH, quality, and labor efficiency, and report performance dataIdentify and support continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma toolsPromote and enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountabilityAssist in hiring, training, evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actionsSubmit shift reports, KPIs, attendance, and safety incidents accurately and on timeCollaborate with Maintenance and Management teams to resolve production issues quicklyLead by example and foster a team-oriented work environmentHelp resolve employee issues, customer escalations, and equipment downtime alongside supervisorsEnsure plant compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policiesThis position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties and responsibilities.QualificationsProven experience in management, supervisory or team lead role (any industry)Experience in high-volume operations with time-sensitive output in manufacturing, logistics, laundry, or warehouse settingsProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with WMS or production tracking systems a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lead teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced settingAbility to multitask and manage priorities in a high-volume settingStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsBilingual English/Spanish preferredFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with safety protocols and key performance metrics (KPIs)Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
