What You'll Be Responsible For

• Prospect & Win New Business by identifying, engaging, and closing new shipper accounts.
• Build Long-Term Customer Relationships that create recurring freight opportunities and long-term revenue growth.
• Develop & Grow Your Book of Business through strategic prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, and relationship management.
• Partner with Operations & Carrier Teams to ensure exceptional service and flawless execution for every customer.
• Own Your Pipeline by managing opportunities, forecasting revenue, and consistently driving new sales activity.
• Manage Customer Performance while ensuring service expectations and operational goals are consistently exceeded.
• Maintain CRM & McLeod Accuracy through timely documentation, customer updates, reporting, and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with Leadership to develop sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and support continued business growth.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Proven success in business development, freight brokerage, transportation sales, or logistics sales

A hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business

Strong cold-calling, prospecting, and relationship-building skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

The ability to manage multiple opportunities while staying organized and results-focused

Experience utilizing CRM platforms and transportation technology

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Self-motivation, accountability, and a desire to exceed goals

Bonus Points If You Have

• Freight brokerage or third-party logistics (3PL) experience
• Existing relationships with shippers or transportation decision-makers
• McLeod software experience
• Transportation industry knowledge
• Experience working in a KPI-driven sales environment
• Strong understanding of freight markets and supply chain operations
