SH America, Inc. is located near GM and Vera Bradley in Roanoke, Indiana. We are ramping up production in our brand new facility that will be manufacturing Electric Vehicle battery parts in a temperature controlled, cleanroom environment. There will be consistent opportunity for Overtime!

Responsibilities:

The Quality Inspector monitors the quality of product and materials in a production environment and will inspect, conduct tests, analyze, measure, and determine if product or material meet or exceed customer expectations and standards. Inspectors will uphold the safety regulations and adhere to the quality standards and will effectively and efficiently report any issues or concerns to the Operator or Supervisor. Inspector recommends measures to improve quality of product, recommends and introduces containment when required, as well as maintain good housekeeping practices in all areas. Inspector will contribute to the achievement of quality objectives by ensuring that quality policies, procedures, and processes are followed at all times. Prepares, reviews and maintains Quality records appropriate to inspection and test activities to assure legibility, completeness, and correctness of the information.

Skills: - Experience with assembly/manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required - Strong quality/inspection, production, manufacturing aptitude is helpful

- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles - Previous experience with a variety of measuring and gauging devices is helpful

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Ability to read and interpret quality documents, forms, processes, blueprints, technical drawings

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a growing industry that will become a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machines and/or working in a production environments. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Shift Differential: Based on 2nd Shift Selection

Expected hours: 48+ per week

Schedule: Training 1-3 Months (Then Move to Permanent Shift)

• 8-12 hour shift
• 6:00a.m. - 2:30/6:30p.m.
• Weekends as needed
• Additional Overtime Potential

Schedule: Regular Shift - 2nd Shift (After Training Complete)

• Monday - Saturday
• 2nd Shift: 2:00p.m. - 10:30p.m.
• Additional Overtime Potential
• NO Sunday Shifts
