Personnel Security SpecialistGlobal Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Personnel Security Specialist.Summary: The Personnel Security Specialist will support stakeholders in investigative and administrative actions needed to ensure that all personnel who require access to information or facilities are efficiently and effectively processed for the appropriate security clearance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Administration and maintenance of personnel security systems (DISS, NBIS, eAPP, NP2 Portal, CVS/PIPs, fingerprinting).Security clearance process handling, including initiation, submission, and monitoring.Compliance reporting and security training for personnel.Process Visitor Access Requests (VARs)Review security forms for completion and accuracy.Effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at various levels within the Department and other Federal agenciesPrepare reports and brief to stakeholders status of eAPP submissionsResponsible for securing all vaults within secure spacesProvide customer support with regards to visitor assistanceRequirement:HS Diploma, Associate's Degree PreferredThree (3) years of experience in security administrative support servicesSecurity Requirements:Active Tier 3 or Secret ClearanceSkills:Detailed knowledge of personnel security administration requirements, DCSA clearance procedures, eApp, NBIS and DISS use and managementCommunicates clearly orally and in writingStrong customer service and communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.GRS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
