Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, parents, and school staff, showcasing dependability in every interaction.

• Collaborate effectively with teachers and other school personnel to identify at-risk students and develop targeted intervention strategies.

• Facilitate access to a range of resources, including community services and support groups, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques, performing thorough evaluations to identify the presence and severity of mental health issues.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local resources and collaborate with community partners to enhance the support system available to students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The social worker in this position will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families who are experiencing significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Understanding the unique developmental and cultural needs of this demographic is critical to fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, ideally within school settings or with youth populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
