Account ExecutiveLocation: Columbus, OHType: Full-Time | Field-BasedAbout the RoleFloorplan Xpress is seeking an Account Executive who is a proven B2B hunter. This role is focused on new business development, including cold calling, prospecting, and closing new accounts. This is not a retail or dealership sales role and is not account management.If you are energized by building a pipeline from scratch, getting in front of decision-makers, and winning new business, you'll do well here.Key ResponsibilitiesProspect and generate new business through cold calls, cold emails, in-person visits, networking, and social outreachBuild and manage a strong pipeline of qualified B2B opportunitiesIdentify, pursue, and close new independent dealer and business accountsConduct discovery conversations and present tailored solutionsMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly new-business sales targetsTravel within your assigned territory to meet prospects and attend industry eventsMaintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecasting data in the CRMCoordinate a professional handoff of new accounts to internal teams after closingRequired QualificationsProven experience in B2B outside sales or business developmentDemonstrated success in hunter-style sales (cold calling, outbound prospecting, pipeline creation)Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity and rejectionStrong communication skills (phone, in person, written)Self-motivated and able to work independently in the fieldValid driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel regularly within assigned territoryPreferred QualificationsExperience selling financial services or solutions-based productsExperience selling to business owners or senior decision-makersCRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)This Role Is NOTRetail car salesDealership floor or lot salesRelationship-only account managementInside sales or call-center salesThis role is 100% focused on new business acquisition.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commissionMileage reimbursement and business expense supportHealth, dental, and vision insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityCompany paid life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCompany-provided tools to support successWhy Floorplan XpressWe partner with independent dealers nationwide and reward Account Executives who take ownership of their territory, consistently prospect, and deliver results.
