About Valley Gates

Valley Gates installs, repairs, and maintains automatic gate systems, access control systems, and related equipment for gated communities and commercial properties.

About the Position

We are looking for someone to join our office team to help with estimating, customer communication, and coordinating work between our office and field technicians.

This position involves understanding technician recommendations, helping prepare estimates, communicating with customers, and organizing information needed to complete repair and installation projects.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers
• Dispatch service calls through our software
• Help put together estimates for repair and installation projects
• Communicate with technicians in the field about recommended work
• Review technician notes and understand the scope of work
• Help determine materials, labor, and project requirements
• Communicate with customers and explain recommended work through email and phone conversations
• Maintain accurate job information and documentation
• Follow up on estimates to help secure approved work

Requirements

• Ability to write professional emails with proper grammar and spelling
• Comfortable communicating with customers professionally by phone and email
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Strong computer research skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working independently
• Comfortable working at a computer and desk for the majority of the day
• Ability to understand technical information and manufacturer documentation
• Aptitude for technical, mechanical, or construction-related information

You do not need direct automatic gate experience; we are willing to train the right person.
