Sales Engineer

A growing manufacturer is looking for an HVAC Sales Engineer to help expand its footprint across the U.S. market.
This is a hands-on technical sales role for someone who understands HVAC and enjoys introducing products to the market, building relationships, and winning specifications.
You will work with MEP consultancies, mechanical contractors, distributors, and building owners to identify opportunities and demonstrate where the company's technology can provide a better solution than conventional HVAC products.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and grow relationships with HVAC/MEP consulting engineers and mechanical contractors
- Identify upcoming projects and create new sales opportunities
- Introduce and demonstrate products to engineers, contractors, and customers
- Influence specifications and get products considered on new projects
- Provide technical support throughout the design and sales process
- Manage a U.S. territory and develop a strong project pipeline
- Work with distribution partners to increase market coverage
- Attend industry events, customer meetings, and project visits
- Gather market feedback and help shape future sales strategy
What We're Looking For:
- Experience selling HVAC or mechanical products/equipment
- Background in technical sales, application engineering, specification sales, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems
- Experience working with MEP consultants, mechanical contractors, or HVAC distributors
- Ability to explain technical products clearly to both engineers and commercial decision-makers
- Comfortable developing business rather than simply managing existing accounts
- Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- P.E. is a plus but not essential.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. as required
