Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThis role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventoryAssist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of Attractions in superior working orderResponsible for maintaining work area and back end in a neat and orderly mannerMaintain an adequate supply of tools and machineryRead and interpret diagnostics from manual(s)Maintain a safe work environment and assist Supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rulesAdvise Supervisor on any problems and/or potential problems discovered during maintenance of AttractionsAbility to work various shifts and regular attendance is a requirement for the rolePerform other related duties as assignedSkills and Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSome knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not requiredWork flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed)Basic working knowledge of hand toolsGeneral knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practicesPhysical Requirements:Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditionsMove about facility and stand for long periods of time (over 2/3 of the time)Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pullingRequires ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. (70+ pounds with the assistance of a dolly)Ability to wear personal protective gearWhile performing the duties of this job, the Attractions Technician is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools (i.e. drills, ladders, chemicals, etc.).About Urban Air Adventure Parks:Urban Air is the preeminent indoor adventure park and the market leader in location-based entertainment.
