As a Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting customers, Inside Sales, Production, Shipping, and Quality teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. Work closely with multiple departments and leadership teams Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customer order inquiries and updates Coordinate with Sales, Production, Shipping, Quality, and Contract Review departments to ensure timely order processing and fulfillment Process customer purchase orders and change orders accurately Monitor customer portals and maintain up-to-date order information Provide customers with order status updates, shipping details, and delivery timelines Identify and communicate potential delays while helping expedite urgent orders Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary Maintain open order reports and communicate scheduling updates Support inventory forecasting and long-term customer agreements (LTAs/Kanban programs) Assist Quality and Compliance departments with customer documentation requests Maintain accurate electronic records and filing systems Deliver exceptional customer service with urgency, professionalism, and accuracy Qualifications 2+ years of customer service, sales support, administrative, or office experience required Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience with ERP or manufacturing software such as JobBoss or DocuWare is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Customer-focused and responsive Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable communicating with multiple departments and customers daily Able to manage changing priorities with professionalism and urgency A proactive problem solver who takes ownership of their work Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
