IT Business Analyst III

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IT Business Analyst III

Position Type: Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte North Carolina

Skills Required:

• This role sits within the Enterprise Data Platform
• Capacity Management Team and is responsible for analytics, executive reporting, and operational insights to support capacity planning and financial governance.
• Monitor and resolve HDFS and Ozone related issues.
• Investigate cluster performance, storage utilization, and capacity-related concerns.
• Manage quota requests, storage allocation, and capacity planning activities.
• Support application onboarding and data platform integration activities.
• Coordinate with application teams during incident resolution and problem management.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies: HDFS, Hive, Spark, Ozone
• Hive Metastore management and table/partition maintenance.
• Supporting large-scale data warehouse environments on Hadoop.
• Data ingestion, ETL processes, and data validation.
• Shell scripting and Python automation.
• Experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) or similar Hadoop distributions.
• Strong SQL and data analytics skills
• Demonstrated expertise in executive reporting and storytelling
• Highly organized with strong analytical and critical thinking skills (strategic and tactical)
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and insights

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $48/hr to $53/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
