Certified Medical Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Carmel, NY ! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM

Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour

Notes: Assistant will work at two locations one in Carmel, and one in Fishkill

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

· Rooming

· Sterile procedure set up and break down

· Clean and sterilize instruments

· Patient care

· Administrative assistance when needed

· Medication refills

· Provider assistance within scope of practice for medical assistant.

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

• Active Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification

• Surgical background, understanding of and ability to apply sterile technique, autoclave and high level disinfectant experience

• EPIC experience
