Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients to identify their needs and formulate personalized therapy strategies that facilitate their recovery journeys.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver well-rounded, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic practices that promote sustained progress at home.
• Observe and Record Progress: Continuously monitor outcomes and adapt treatment plans accordingly, ensuring patients are on the right path.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or postgraduate certifications encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
