Make a visible impact by identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, reporting, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Review timekeeping, wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, benefits, garnishments, and employee changes while resolving discrepancies before payroll is finalized. Oversee a small team of payroll specialists. Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll issues, maintain accurate employee data, and provide payroll reporting and support. Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen payroll controls, support system updates, and help ensure payroll procedures remain efficient and compliant. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience, preferably supporting a multi-state workforce.
