Practical Nurse (Inpatient)

Duties
Provide practical/vocational nursing care to patients.
Administer prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.
Evaluate patient responses to care and implements basic interventions to address changes in patient status.
Assist in performing and managing medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterizations, and respiratory therapies, under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed medical practitioner.
Provide patient and family education tailored to specific medical conditions, treatment plans, and recovery goals.
