CNA PRN Shifts - Dallas Area -$21/hr

Job Opportunity: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Companion Care (Pediatrics)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: PRN / As-Needed (Up to 40 hours per week) Shifts range from 4-12 hours
Locations: Dallas Metro and Surrounding : Arlington, Coppell, Denton, Flower Mound, Forney, Fort Worth, Frisco, Highland Park, Irving, Mansfield, McKinney, Mesquite, Plano, Prosper, Waxahachie


About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide companion care for pediatric clients (ages 3 months to 18 years) in private home settings. This role centers around delivering personalized support for daily living, fostering emotional well-being, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

CNAs must be comfortable around pets (cats and dogs), as care is provided in family homes. A calm, patient, and friendly demeanor-especially with children and animals-is key to success in this role.


Key Responsibilities

Companionship & Personal Care

• Engage and supervise pediatric clients
• Assist with daily living activities
• Offer emotional support and companionship
• Provide care to clients of all ages when needed

Household Support

• Follow individualized care plans and household guidelines
• Maintain a safe, clean environment
• Prepare light meals or snacks when required

Requirements

Certifications (Must be Current & Valid)

• American Heart Association (AHA) CPR
• First Aid Certification
• CNA License - State of Texas
• Clean criminal back ground and able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen.

Health Documentation

• TB Skin Test or Chest X-ray
• Immunization records or positive titers for:
  
  
  • Hepatitis B
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Tdap (within the past 10 years)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years providing direct care in one or more of the following settings:
  
  
  • Acute Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Long-Term Care (LTC)
  • Home Health
• Experience with a diverse patient population including infants, children, adults, and geriatric clients
