The Jobat aGlance 

As theSenior Manager, Facilitiesyou will oversee all aspects of maintenance and repairs at the office and theGlobal Fulfillment Center (GFC)includingpreventative maintenance,troubleshooting activities, andfacility equipmentupkeepingto support safe and efficient operations. This role will require a mix of hands-onapproach,leading a team,and coordination with vendors to service and maintain our equipment.The Chicago campus is made up of 3 buildings, all supported by theSenior Manager, Facilities. 

A Typical Day 

• Oversee preventivemaintenanceand repairfora fully automatedGlobal Fulfillment Center (GFC)including but not limited to repairing conveyor lines, robotics troubleshooting, and warehouse and facility equipment maintenance management. 

• Build trusty relationships with vendors and service providersin order tocoordinate maintenance support, necessary upgrades, and facility repairs. 

• Coordinate all necessary shuttle bus preventive maintenanceand repair. 

• Lead, train, and develop a team of conveyortechniciansand maintenancetechnicianswith a focus on safety and efficiency. 

• Oversee maintenance of essential facility systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, as well as performance of tasks such as snow removal, waste management, fire safety arrangements, and others. 

• Support a safe work environment by addressing equipment-related safety concerns. 

• Work closelywithGFCleadershipteam to address operational maintenance and safety issues promptly. 
• Maintain required OSHA documentation, ensure maintenance practices meet safety and regulatory standards. 
• Assist withGFCequipmenttraining when needed. 
• Review 3rdparty contractor policy with service providers and ensure compliance. 
• Work with GFC leadership to ensure automation uptime allowsthemto meet customer needs. 
• Run a competitive bid process that meets budget and timeline constraints. 

To Land This Opportunity 

• Youhave8+ yearsof experience working with electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment and able to troubleshoot issues. 

• You’ve led successful teams, prioritized multiple projects, managed a maintenance budget and spare parts inventory. 

• You have experience working in an automated and fast-paced environment. 

• You’ve had responsibility for multiple operating buildings. 

• You consider yourself an expert in troubleshooting automated systems and conveyors, and you like learning new things about robotics. 

• Youhave the ability tolift up to 50 pounds and perform 8 or more hours of standing, bending, lifting, walking and carrying products in combination at any given time. 

• You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written) 

• You are looking to work Monday through Friday and can work Saturdays as needed.You can flex your schedule to handle urgent facility needs, even outside normal hours.

The salary range for this role is $86,140.46– $128,682.87 annuallywhich is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
