Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage for its Denver, Colorado office. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in coverage litigation and possess strong research and writing skills. Duties Draft pleadings and briefs. Prepare and respond to written discovery. Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients. Analyze insurance policies and draft coverage opinions. Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Review documents in preparation for litigation. Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations. Submit filings to the court. Requirements Admitted to practice in Colorado. 3+ years of insurance coverage experience. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Capable of working within a team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Colorado. Skills Proactive and motivated. Excellent research and writing skills.
