Project Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce is looking for a Project Manager in Rochester, NY that is seeking a Project Manager to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity. The main function of the Project Manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc., or any other non-IT based project.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• PMI or PMP certification preferred
• 5-7 years of experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage ones time
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
• Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
