Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, including couples and family units, addressing their unique situations and behavioral health needs.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that may include couple's therapy, family therapy, and individual sessions to promote understanding and healing within the family system.

• Address a range of issues, such as alcohol abuse, psychological and physical abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused approaches tailored to the needs of your clients.

• Document clinical notes using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will range from individuals struggling with personal issues to couples and families facing relational challenges. Your work will involve helping clients navigate complex emotions and situations, including adjustment issues related to separation, divorce, and family restructuring. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.

Preferred Experience\n
