Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to the individual or couples needs.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions as well as joint sessions with couples and families to address various relational dynamics.
\n
• Specializing in treatment for issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.
\n
• Tracking patient progress and modifying treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with state guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including couples, adults, and children/adolescents, addressing various issues such as familial conflicts, blended family challenges, job stress, and communication difficulties. Your expertise will be crucial in improving family dynamics and fostering healthier relationships within the family unit.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a relevant mental health field.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Georgia.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice and clinical excellence in providing therapeutic services.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in working with family systems, conducting teletherapy, and utilizing innovative therapeutic modalities will be preferred. We welcome applications from newly licensed professionals as well as those with extensive experience, emphasizing flexibility and availability for 30 hours or more per week.
