Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, tailoring your approach based on individual needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain ongoing documentation and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality of client information.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Actively participate in case consultations, professional development activities, and team meetings to enhance service delivery and share knowledge.

• Advocate for clients facing stigma related to mental health issues and work towards fulfilling their unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals living with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients may also include vulnerable groups such as homeless individuals, refugees, and domestic violence survivors. Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
