Role Description The Restaurant Manager at Chick-fil-A in Wausau, WI is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role includes leading and coaching Team Members, managing shift schedules, and supporting hiring, onboarding, and training to maintain strong staffing levels and performance standards. The Restaurant Manager monitors food quality, safety, and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. They also help manage inventory, cash handling, and basic reporting, while supporting local marketing initiatives and community engagement activities. The role requires hands‑on leadership in the restaurant, modeling Chick‑fil‑A’s values of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence. Qualifications Strong customer‑facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on hospitality and guest retention. Experience with Hiring and team development, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance coaching. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, Team Members, and leadership, and for providing clear direction during shifts. Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including food safety, quality control, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Previous restaurant or retail leadership experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or quick‑service environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, reliability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality, business, or related fields is a plus.
