Registered Nurse - Neuro Stepdown

Assignment Duration

This is a 20-week contract position with the option for a 13-week duration.

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in the Neuro Stepdown Unit. This position focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from neurological conditions in a progressive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and make critical care decisions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in neuro nursing.
• 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience is required; travel experience is acceptable.
• Active Ohio RN License or a Compact State License in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday.
