Key Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license and required school certification
• Background or interest in school-based OT practice, especially with elementary and middle school populations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Ability to assess student needs, develop and implement IEP goals, and adapt interventions accordingly
• Approachability, patience, and motivation to make a meaningful difference

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-8 students, spanning academic, behavioral, and developmental needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create and monitor individualized educational plans
• Conduct assessments, collect data, and document student progress in a timely and organized manner
• Engage with families and school staff to offer strategies and resources that support students growth
• Maintain compliance with state and federal school regulations
