CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Job Title
Duties
You will perform pre-award functions for procurements involving complex contracts for supplies and services.
You will ensure appropriate funding, certifications, approvals and compliances have been obtained for purchase requests
You will selects contract types, methods of solicitation and options, to include opportunities for pre-established tiered contracting vehicles in accordance with Category Management principles
You will resolve and disposition contract audit recommendations in a timely manner, while fully protecting the Government's interest.
You will develop cost/pricing data for use in negotiation sessions.
You will analyze proposals for conformance with the solicitation.
You will serves as point of contact for assigned procurements to include those involving on-site operational contracting support.
