Position Overview We’re seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our outpatient care team and provide supportive, patient-centered treatment. In this role, the therapist will conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and apply appropriate physical therapy interventions. The position also includes educating patients and their families while maintaining compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to physical therapy practice. Responsibilities Screen patients to determine need for intervention and initiate referrals as appropriate. Evaluate patients using appropriate age-specific tools and interpret data to plan treatment. Establish goals and treatment plans based on evaluation data, rehabilitation potential, discharge plans, and in coordination with goals and plans of patient, family and other care team members. Demonstrate skill and creativity in implementing patient treatment programs that are safe, effective, and efficient. Modify treatment program according to patient needs and progress, terminate treatment appropriately, and develop appropriate discharge and post-discharge plans. Complete evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and third-party reimbursement reports per established departmental requirements. Perform reassessments per established departmental protocols as necessary. Collaborate with physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing integrated patient care. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patient and caregivers. Attend team and family conferences; interpret pertinent findings and contribute to the development of a multidisciplinary plan of care. Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited school or master’s equivalent. Entry-level position; no experience required but interest in oncology preferred. Current Physical Therapist license in the State of California or PTLA status in the state of California. BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
