Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long-Term Care

This is a Mid 5x8-Hour shift position, with hours from 14:00 to 22:00.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care to patients in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a dedication to assisting patients with their daily activities and care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ambulation, feeding, turning, and repositioning patients.
• Provide personal hygiene care, including complete bed baths and skin care.
• Manage urinary and stool incontinence care and assist with catheter care.
• Ensure safety and comfort by using proper patient transfer techniques and equipment.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient areas and equipment.
• Stock supplies and assist with maintaining inventory levels.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Valid CNA certification.
• New York state license required in hand to submit.
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:10 preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (Epic) is required.
