Communications Manager, MDC Foundation

Miami Dade College is now accepting applications for Communications Manager, MDC Foundation. The Communications Manager serves as the Foundation’s lead communications professional, responsible for setting strategy, defining brand and messaging, and executing integrated communications initiatives that advance the Foundation’s mission, strengthen visibility, and support fundraising and donor engagement. This position works closely with Foundation leadership to lead the development and ongoing refinement of communications and marketing strategies, while directly producing high-quality content and managing digital platforms. This position provides direction to a small team and external partners, ensuring cohesive, effective, and timely execution of all communications efforts. What you will be doing: Directs and executes the Foundation’s communications and marketing strategy, aligning messaging and campaigns with fundraising and College priorities Defines and manages brand identity, voice, and messaging to ensure consistency and strengthen positioning Develops and produces key communications materials, including donor communications, impact stories, campaigns, presentations, and reports Manages digital platforms, including website, email marketing, and social media, to drive engagement and visibility Partners with Foundation leadership and development staff to support fundraising, donor engagement, and Board communications Prepares press materials and coordinate with the College’s Office of Communications and Media Relations Tracks performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness Provides direction to supporting staff and vendors, managing workflows to ensure high-quality and timely execution Identifies opportunities to enhance communications through new tools, trends, and best practices Works closely with the Foundation leadership to align presidential messaging with broader institutional campaigns Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and seven (7) years of related experience All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution #J-18808-Ljbffr Miami Dade College
