Job Summary The Scheduling Coordinator will provide technical assistance in creating and updating CPM schedules at all phases of each project throughout their duration, from conceptual to close-out. The Scheduling Coordinator also produces and delivers various reports from the CPM schedule to the project team. Scheduling Coordinator's may also be asked to perform Field Engineering duties such as responding to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders and have responsibility for assisting in writing change orders, RFl's, meeting minutes, and reviewing Submittals. Key Responsibilities Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting.6. Assists Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and other work tasks and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, RFl's, and budget forecasting. Assists in the calculation of daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work. Assists the Project Superintendent with the incorporation into the CPM schedule the effects form design conflicts and clarifications. Assists the project superintendent with the management of the CPM schedule for the successful execution of the work, including the coordination of the means and methods, manpower, equipment and material resources required to accomplish this goal. Assists with Quality Control and Safety Responsibilities and subcontractor coordination and oversight.Conducts project CPM schedule review meetings at each of proposal, baseline and update phases. May be responsible for overseeing/managing the BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers. Produces a final as-built CPM schedule at the completion of each project. Provides the following weekly quantities: maintains accurate quantity logs and reports quantities in compliance with the cost control manual. Completed logs are to be filed with the project files. Revises each project CPM schedule on a weekly basis from reports completed by the project superintendent. Minimum Job Requirements 2+ years of CPM scheduling experience in similar types of construction. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. Four year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), scheduling systems, negotiations, engineering and cost control schedules. Physical Requirements May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
