SALARY RANGE IS 85K-125K/yr. BUT DEPENDENT UPON THE CANDIDATE'S SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Scrum Master for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.


Responsibilities

• Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership, adopt and apply Agile Principles, and implement Agile practices
• Promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals. Identify and work to mitigate impediments
• Facilitate all team meetings, including (but not limited to) the Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective
• Guide the team in estimating the team's work
• Keep the team focused on daily and sprint goals to include achieving results, quality, flow, and velocity
• Identify functional requirements and create user stories
• Test developed stories and ensure application quality
• Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
• Assist with data mapping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
• Minimum 5 years of work experience (including internships)
• Clear written communication and documentation skills
• Experience with Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team
• Experience with Agile Project Management (Intermediate)
• Experience with Business requirement Analysis (Intermediate)
• Experience with Jira (Intermediate)
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
• Able to develop strong client relationships.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA
• Application/software requirements gathering experience
