Tax Supervisor Opportunity
A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Greater Pittsburgh area is looking for a Tax Supervisor to manage a portfolio of business and individual clients. You'll review complex work, lead engagement teams, and act as a trusted advisor, with a defined path to Tax Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and fiduciary returns
- Managing engagement workflow, budgets, and deadlines
- Leading tax planning and projection work for closely held businesses and owners
- Researching complex tax issues and communicating recommendations to clients
- Representing clients in correspondence with taxing authorities
- Supervising, training, and mentoring staff and seniors
- Helping identify opportunities for additional services
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
- 5-7 years of progressive public accounting tax experience
- CPA or EA (required or near completion)
- Strong technical knowledge of pass-through and individual taxation
- Experience reviewing work and supervising others
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Benefits include:
