Our staffing firm is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Bookkeeper on behalf of a well-established, locally owned CPA firm in Rock Hill, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, embraces technology, and is looking for a long-term career opportunity with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and quick to learn new software and processes. This position offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to work alongside experienced accounting professionals in a supportive office environment.
Schedule
- Approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Hours may fluctuate based on workload and seasonal business demands
- Opportunity for additional hours and eventual full-time employment for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping data
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with payroll-related tasks and reporting
- Enter financial data and maintain organized records
- Generate reports and assist with client account management
- Utilize accounting and cloud-based software platforms
- Support the accounting team with various administrative and bookkeeping functions
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, office, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning new technology
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software systems and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
