Accounts Payable Clerk

A North County Healthcare company is looking to hire a contract Accounts Payable Clerk for 2-3 months to assist with extra work load. This role is onsite Monday-Friday in Oceanside.
- Hourly pay is $24-25/hr.
- Process 200-300 weekly invoices as required per schedule
- Follow all auditing requirements to ensure compliance to purchasing and signature authority policies. Organizes work load to complete assignments timely and keeps Supervisor advised on progress
- Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely basis for vendor discounts
- Performs weekly check run cycles
- Establish validity of PO invoices
- Prepares computer input for non-PO invoices and credit memos
- Knowledge of 1099 requirements
- Knowledge of sales and use tax
Required Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
- Lawson software experience is a plus
- Healthcare experience a plus as well
