Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry

Schedule: Nights (3x12s)

Assignment Details: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Core clinical skills: IV starts, telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management, peripheral line care, non-invasive airway management

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care to adults, focusing on musculoskeletal infections, implanted antibiotic spacers, and orthopedic trauma.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans, treatments, and health promotion strategies.

Compliance / Notes:

• Ohio fingerprinting required for credentialing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• RTO required with submission
