The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the accounting team, overseeing all financial reporting, and managing accounting, compliance, and regulatory reporting. The role also involves close partnership with the CFO on cash flow management, financial strategy, and scaling the finance function. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in real estate, particularly residential and HUD exposure. The role requires a candidate with proven executive leadership experience in managing and developing accounting teams, a strong background in financial reporting for investors and external stakeholders, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or Master's degree is preferred).
