Home Care RN Opportunity

Start and end your day at your kitchen table no hospital rush, just a schedule that works for you. As a Home Care RN, you'll have the freedom to manage your day, the independence to work on your own, and the chance to slow things down and focus on one patient at a time. M-F 8-4:30, one weekend every 4th week, holiday rotation.

You'll build real relationships, see the direct impact of your care, and help guide patients through recovery while coordinating with physicians, specialists, and families along the way. This role provides home care services in the following counties: Sagadahoc, Cumberland, Kennebec, Lincoln & Androscoggin.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!

Summary: The Registered Nurse II - Home Care role provides patient-family centered quality care through assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care. Services may be provided on an outpatient, and/or community basis.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid Driver's license with vehicle availability and liability insurance coverage as specified by Agency policy required.
3. Experience: One year of relevant experience required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse Home Care role.
