Equity Research Senior Associate, Leisure and Gaming, Assistant Vice President

Job Overview The Research Sr Associate is a seasoned professional role responsible for applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows within a defined area or function. The role integrates subject matter expertise, evaluates complex issues, and collaborates across the sub‑function to achieve business objectives. It involves strong communication, diplomacy, and informal/formal leadership, coaching new recruits, and significantly influencing project outcomes through advice and facilitation. Responsibilities Deliver high quality investment insights to credit investors globally with independence and objectivity. Produce regular written research and manage investment meetings with company management, industry consultants, and clients (internal and external). Maintain, update, and create company financial models and relative value sheets. Assist publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep‑dive notes, and other group products. Handle client inquiries and requests (internal and external). Coordinate investor meetings, management meetings, field trips, and conference calls with consultants. Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, supporting compliance and safeguarding the firm’s reputation, following applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating control issues transparently. Qualifications 5-8 years of relevant experience. MBA or graduate degree and/or CFA preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modelling. Experience supporting senior credit research analysts. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. Attention to detail. Secure and maintain applicable licenses. Education Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience. Location and Compensation Primary Location: Getzville, New York, United States. Annual Salary Range: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00.
