Herschend is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to add to our restaurant operation team for our newest hospitality venture, Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel located in the heart of Downtown Nashville. The ideal candidate is driven to provide excellent bar experiences for our guests through proper steps of service and maintain a great work environment for our fellow hosts and vendors in the Listening Lobby, our daytime space for bites and beverages. The Listening Lobby Bartender position provides a unique opportunity for the right individual to be involved in opening bar efforts for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel featuring 245 rooms, two F&B Entertainment venues, a market, and Dolly Parton’s Museum. This position is driven to create meaningful experiences for our hosts, guests, and community while simultaneously ensuring the success and profitability of our unique bar offerings. Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities Checks with Manager for daily objectives Properly setting up/closing down bar wells with accuracy and ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked Craft and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer with consistency and precision Maintain a thorough knowledge of the full beverage menu including spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings Maintains a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes Performs service, busser and runner duties as appropriate Must be willing to work in other disciplines within the department as directed by management Uses POS accurately.
