Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a requirement to work every other weekend and participate in on-call shifts as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and assess uterine contractions.
  • Administer medications and manage pain relief protocols.
  • Support mothers in postpartum recovery and promote breastfeeding.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (L&D).
  • Active registered nursing license in Arkansas or a multistate license.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
  • Experience in postpartum care is preferred.

Additional Information

This position may offer flexibility in scheduling, including consideration for a 48-hour per week schedule.
